Q: How much VAT off
the rental can I claim back under contract hire?
A: Half the of the
VAT on the cost of hiring the car and all of the VAT on the service,
maintenance and management of the car. For vans VAT is fully recoverable,
subject to normal rules.
However we recommend you check with your own financial
adviser for accurate VAT savings.

Q: Can new companies
use the services of Castle Vehicle Leasing?
A: Yes, subject to
standard checks. Simply send us your current UK business bank account
details and business plan.

Q: What about the road
fund licence?
A: Your monthly rental
payments cover the cost of the road fund licence for the vehicle
throughout the rental period. You will only be charged or credited
if there is a government change in road fund licence costs.

Q: How much deposit
will I have to pay?
A: The standard amount
is 3 month’s rental, however a larger deposit may be required
to support your credit line following application.

Q: How do I get my
vehicle serviced?
A: Call one number
or use the Internet booking service and the "Lex One Call"
service will collect your vehicle, take your car to the dealer,
get it serviced and wash it before returning it back to you. This
service is free and is available throughout the UK mainland.
Not all leasing companies offer this service if it's important to
you please let us know and we'll point you in the right direction. |

Q: What if I get my
mileage wrong?
A: You can amend your
contract at any time provided there are six paying months to go.
You can move the mileage up or down and are also not restricted
over the number of times you can do this.

Q: Can I buy the vehicle
at the end of the contract?
A: The driver can purchase
the vehicle but the company cannot. We sell selected vehicles at
the end of contract please call us for a list.

Q: What happens at
the end of my contract?
A: You can renew it,
extend it for 6 or 12 months or a third party may buy it.
|
|
Q: What happens if
my vehicle is damaged before I return it?
A: Your vehicle will
be assessed at the end of the contract for any damage and if it
is not fair wear and tear you may be liable for the repair bill.
The British Vehicle rental and Leasing association publishes guidelines
which reputable leasing companies use to determine these costs.

Q: Where do you buy
the vehicle from and can I use my dealer?
A: Provided your dealer
offers the same terms and conditions as Castle Vehicle Leasing enjoys this
will not be a problem.
